Asus ROG Phone 7 Confirmed to Launch in India on April 13

Asus has revealed that the ROG Phone 7, the brand's latest ROG Gaming phone, is scheduled to debut in India on April 13. Besides India, the smartphone will also be launched in other global markets such as Taipei, Berlin, and New York.

Mobile gaming enthusiasts can watch the event via livestream on April 13 at 5:30pm IST. Various versions of the upcoming ROG Phone 7 were spotted on TENAA, 3C, and the Geekbench database, ahead of the launch. Here's everything we have gleaned from the listings.

Asus ROG Phone 7 Rumored Features

According to the Geekbench database, we can expect the Asus ROG Phone 7 to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The high-end processor is built on TSMC's 4nm process. The SoC will be accompanied by an Adreno 740 GPU.

As for the storage, the ROG Phone 7 will likely feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It is reported that the upcoming smartphone might support 16GB of internal storage. When it comes to the operating system, the handset might boot Android 13 out of the box.

Moving on to the battery, China's TENAA certification site hints that the Asus ROG Phone 7 will be powered by a 5,850mAh battery. The capacity might be rounded off and listed by Asus as a 6,000mAh battery. To recall, the Asus ROG Phone 6 also features a 6,000mAh battery.

In addition, the Asus ROG Phone 7 was previously spotted on the 3C certification website. Going by the listing, we can expect the smartphone to support 65W fast charging, just like the ROG Phone 6.

According to rumors, the Asus ROG Phone 7 could sport a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel. The display might feature a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 165Hz, similar to its predecessor.
