Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL listed on FCC, wireless charging confirmed

Google Pixel 3 is one of the highly anticipated phone apart from the iPhone XS. With each passing day more and more leaks and renders are surfacing over the web giving us the hints of what the flagship device from Google could have in store for the users. As per the rumors, it is being speculated that the Pixel 3 XL could feature a notched display and also both the devices could feature a dual camera set up at the front.

The #MadeByGoogle event is approaching closer and now it has brought us to the devices' FCC certification. The FCC certification of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL has not revealed the hardware and software features of the devices, however, it surely has given some reasonable insights on both the devices.

Let's quickly go through the renders revealed by the FCC certification. To begin with, this is the first time that a Google Pixel device has been filed via Google's FCC ID. Up until now the previous generations of the Pixel devices were manufactured by the other brands due to which LG and HTC had registered their device through the FCC docs. However, this time Pixel device is being manufactured by Google hence the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL have been filed via Google's FCC ID.

In addition to this, the Google Pixel 3 has been identified as G013A, whereas, the Google Pixel 3XL will be called as the Go13C, reveals the FCC listing. These naming schemes are based on the fact that the previous gen Pixels i.e the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 Xl were called as G011A and G011c respectively.

Also, it is further revealed that the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL are expected to come with a "WPC Charging Mode". This indicates that the Pixel devices could feature a glass rear in order to support the wireless charging. Both the Pixel and Pixel 3XL will come with Band 12 and Band 71 for the users based out of the US. This will further allow the users to utilize the Extended Range LTE service.
