Google Pixel 7 Fold, Pixel 7a to Launch on May 10: Report
Google's first foldable smartphone will be launched earlier than expected. Multiple leaks after, the Google Pixel Fold has a release date, albeit not officially. According to reports, Google will launch the Pixel Fold and the Pixel 7a on May 10, during the Google I/O 2023 developer conference.
The Google Pixel Fold has had multiple leaks, including live-images, as has been the case with most of Google's recent hardware launches. The Pixel Fold is expected to hit the markets in June with two color options and a single storage variant.

Google Pixel Fold Sale Date Leaked
According to a report by WinFuture, the Pixel Fold will be launched on May 10, and will go on sale in Europe in June. The smartphone is officially called Pixel Fold and will be available with 256GB storage, and in Carbon (black/grey) and Porcelain (White) color options.
Earlier reports had claimed the Pixel Fold featured a wider display, more in line with the recent Oppo Find N2 than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Leaks suggest the Pixel 7 Fold could come with a 5.79-inch outer display and a 7.69-inch internal folding display. The smartphone will allegedly be powered by the Google Tensor G2 chip, the same chipset that powers the Pixel 7 series.
Google Pixel 7a Specs and Price
As for the Pixel 7a, nearly everything is now known. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. This too will be powered by the Tensor G2 chip.
WinFuture claimed the Pixel 7a could be priced 500 Euros at launch, which roughly converts to Rs 44,000. The Pixel 7a will come in Arctic Blue, Carbon, and Cotton colorways.
The smartphone is expected to feature a dual camera system at the back, with a 64MP Sony IMX787 primary camera and a 13MP sensor for ultrawide shots. On the front is another 13MP shooter for selfies.
The Pixel 7a and the Pixel Fold will come with Android 13 pre-installed. The Fold will run an Android version tailored for the foldable interface. It will be interesting to see the software differentiations Google introduces in its first foldable smartphone.
