The Google Pixel 7a has officially been unveiled at the Google I/O 2023 alongside the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet. The Pixel 7a debuts as the most affordable smartphone in the Pixel 7 series. It also brings major upgrades over the Google Pixel 6a.

The Google Pixel 7a arrives with the new Tensor G2 chipset that is used on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Additionally, the Pixel 7a also gets upgrades in the display, camera, and battery departments. Here's everything you need to know about the Pixel 7a.

The Google Pixel 7a price in India set at Rs 43,999 for the sole 8GB/128GB configuration. The Google Pixel 7a sale in India will start from toady via Flipkart. The Pixel 7a launch offers include an instant Rs 4,000 discount using HDFC Bank cards.

Additionally, consumers can also avail No Cost EMI payment option and screen damage protection for a year with the device. With the purchase of the Pixel 7a, customers can get the Buds A-Series or Fitbit Inspire 2 for just Rs 3,999. The Pixel 7a is offered in Charcoal, Snow, Coral, and Sea colour options, although the Coral shade is not available in India.

The Google Pixel 7a is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5. RAM. The phone also comes with 128GB of UFS 3.1storage. The Pixel 7a runs stock Android 13 out of the box. Google also promises three years of software updates and five years of security updates with the Pixel 7a.

The Pixel 7a has a 4,385 mAh battery with fast charging support, although no adapter is included in the box. For the first time, Google's affordable Pixel now supports the Qi wireless charging standard. The Pixel 7a also gets an updated 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen also boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR support.

The rear camera can also record up to 4K video at 60fps, while the front camera is limited to 4K at 30fps. Connectivity options on the Pixel 7a include 5G, 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, GPS, and more. It also features the Titan M2 security chip.

The Pixel 7a also features an in-display fingerprint reader. Google says that the Pixel 7a uses recycled aluminium in the frame as well as recycled glass and plastic to build the phone. Lastly, the Pixel 7a also features an IP67 rating for water resistance.
