Google is gearing up for a major hardware launch on August 13th, introducing the highly anticipated Google Pixel 9 series, which includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. With a slew of leaks and renders already circulating, here's a detailed look at what to expect from Google's latest flagship smartphones.

New Design and Color Options

The latest render (courtesy of Sudhanshu Ambhore) reveals that the Pixel 9 series will come in several striking color options. The Pixel 9 will be available in an eye-catching Pink, while the larger Pixel 9 Pro XL will sport a sophisticated Porcelain finish. Both models feature a prominent rear camera module with significant protrusion, housing up to three camera sensors.

The volume rocker and power button are conveniently located on the right edge, ensuring easy access. The design changes aim to offer a fresh look while maintaining the practical design elements Pixel users appreciate.

Camera Systems

Google is set to elevate the camera experience with the Pixel 9 series. The standard Pixel 9 will feature a 50MP Samsung GNK main sensor and a 50MP Sony IMX858 ultrawide camera, complemented by a 10.5MP Samsung 3J1 selfie camera with autofocus.

The Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will come equipped with a 50MP IMX858 ultrawide camera, a 50MP Samsung GNK primary camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Additionally, these Pro models will feature an impressive 50MP IMX858 front camera for high-quality selfies.

Tensor G4 Chipset

All models in the Pixel 9 series will be powered by Google's next-generation Tensor G4 chipset, manufactured by Samsung. This new chipset promises enhanced performance and improved efficiency.
