Here’s When Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra Could Launch in India
In October, Xiaomi launched its flagship Xiaomi 15 and the 15 Pro in its homegrown market. The standard variant already appeared on the BIS platform with model number 24129PN74I, hinting at an imminent launch. While there's no official confirmation regarding the launch timeline, here's what leaks and rumours suggest.
Here's When Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra Could Launch in India
Xiaomi could follow the same launch timeline as the Xiaomi 14 (Review), which means the handset is expected to arrive in India sometime around March. Even the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also expected to arrive at the same time, which was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website.

For the unaware, the brand is now gearing up to launch the Ultra model in China. The exact launch date for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has not been announced yet; however, a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station reveals the phone might arrive by February 2025.
Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra: What to Expect?
The Xiaomi 15 features a 6.36-inch LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K (1,200 x 2,670 pixels), an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness reaching up to 3,200 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a maximum of 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
It packs a 5,400mAh battery using Silicon-Carbon technology with 90W wired, 50W wireless and a new 30W magnetic wireless charging support. For optics, the Xiaomi 15 has a Leica-branded triple-camera setup including a Summilux lens with three sensors: a primary Light Fusion sensor at 50MP with OIS support and an f/1.62 aperture; a Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens at another 50MP; and a Samsung JN5 telephoto shooter.
