Honor 9 Lite, the new budget smartphone from Huawei's sub-brand with a quad camera setup went on sale today in India for the fourth time. The smartphone was launched in the country in two variants - 32GB storage variant priced at Rs. 10,999 and 64GB storage variant priced at Rs. 14,999 and is exclusive to the online retailer Flipkart. The device went on sale today at 12 PM for the fourth time and the stocks are claimed to be empty in just 120 seconds that is two minutes.

The demand for the Honor 9 Lite is not surprising as we saw the device being sold out in a few minutes in the past three sales as well. The first sale was open on January 21 midnight and it went out of stock in six minutes creating a record by selling over 150 units per second. Following the same, the second sale was held again on January 21 at 12 PM and it was sold out in three minutes. The third sale happened on January 23 at 12 PM and the stocks were dried in just two minutes.

Though Honor India took to Twitter to announce that the fourth sale that commenced at 12 PM today saw the device being sold out in 120 seconds similar to the third sale, the company has not revealed the exact number of units those were let out for the sale. Also, it has been announced that the next sale will happen on February 6 via Flipkart.

The demand for the Honor 9 Lite is massive in India as it is priced competitively despite the presence of four cameras, an impressive full-screen design and capable hardware. Also, the smartphone comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Refreshing on its specifications, the Honor 9 Lite bestows a 5.65-inch FHD+ IPS display with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The device gets the power from an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB of memory capacity. For imaging, there are two identical dual cameras comprising of 13MP and 2MP sensors both at the front and rear. The rear camera setup has PDAF and LED flash as well. The other goodies on board the Honor 9 Lite are Bluetooth, GPS, OTG support, 4G VoLTE, and a 3000mAh battery capable of rendering up to 24 days of standby time.
