Lately, we have been coming across the leaked benchmark and certification website listing tipping that Huawei working on a smartphone with four cameras. Now, the smartphone seems to have got a specific launch date.
According to a report by GSMArena citing a Weibo post, Huawei G10 that could be sold as Maimang 6 in China is all set to be unveiled on September 22. Recently, Huawei has uploaded a poster for the event that is slated to happen on September 22. The image shows a tall handset and that could be for a good reason. The device is claimed to feature a 5.9-inch FHD 1080p EntireView display carrying an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is worth mentioning that the Mate 10 Pro will also be launched with a full-screen display and the launch is to happen on October 16.
The Huawei G10 recently cleared the TENAA, the Chinese regulatory certification. The TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone will arrive with a dual camera setup at both its front and rear. In that case, this will be the first Huawei smartphone to arrive with four cameras.
It is claimed that there will be a 16MP and a 2MP combination at the rear and a 13MP and a 2MP combination at the front for selfies. The low-resolution sensors are said to enable shallow depth-of-field and bokeh effects. The other specifications are said to include an octa-core processor of unspecified chipset, 4GB RAM, and 64GB default storage space. The Huawei G10 is believed to make use of a 3240mAh battery that can render enough backup to the device.
