Huawei has been busy these three days. The company has been launching smartphones all over the world. Starting with Huawei Honor 8 for the US market on 16th August which is followed by Huawei P9 launch in India yesterday and the company today launched the Huawei G9 Plus for the Chinese market.

The Huawei G9 Plus is the successor to the Huawei G9 Lite which is also known as Huawei P9 Lite in some countries. Coming back to the smartphone, the G9 Plus features all-metal aluminum body with rounded corners.
The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display with a pixel resolution of 1920*1080 and it also has a curved 2.5D glass. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor with all its eight cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The device will arrive in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and the other one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The G9 Plus has a 16MP rear camera with OIS and PDAF, which is against the rumors as they suggested that G9 Plus will feature a dual camera on the rear same as the Huawei P9. Also, there is an 8MP front facing camera to cover up the selfies.
The Huawei G9 Plus also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear which is on par with other Huawei smartphones. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's own EMUI 4.1 skin on top of it.

Battery wise, the G9 Plus features a huge 3,340mAh battery which as per the company can last up to 2 days with normal usage. All the standard set of connectivity options are present in the smartphone such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, USB OTG. Also, the USB Type- C port can be seen on the bottom of the smartphone.
Official pricing of the smartphone is as follows: the 3GB of RAM variant costs as much as 2399 Yuan (approx. Rs. 24,200) and the pricing of 4GB of RAM variant hasn't revealed by the company. We expect the company will keep the pricing simple and there is no word on global availability regarding the handset.
