iPhone 16 Series Impact: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, Watch Series 9 Discontinued on the Apple Store

The iPhone 16 series, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, was unveiled on Monday, September 9. Pre-orders for these new Apple smartphones will commence in India on September 13. Additionally, pre-orders for the latest Apple Watch Series 10 are already available. Alongside these launches, Apple has discontinued several older products.

Apple has ceased sales of the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 13, and the Watch Series 9. These devices are no longer listed on Apple's official website but may still be found through third-party retailers or refurbished stores. The iPhone 15 Pro Max and Watch Series 9 were initially launched in September 2023.

Apple's Latest Product Lineup

In addition to the new iPhone 16 lineup, other models currently available in India include the iPhone SE, which debuted in March 2022 with a starting price of Rs. 47,600. Consumers can also purchase the base and Plus variants of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15.

The base prices for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in India are Rs. 59,990 and Rs. 69,990 respectively. These models come in storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB and are available in Blue, Midnight, Purple, Product (Red), Starlight, and Yellow colours.

iPhone Models Pricing Details

The starting prices for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus in India are Rs. 69,990 and Rs. 79,990 respectively. These phones also offer storage options of up to 512GB and come in five colour choices: Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow.

Meanwhile, Apple has introduced a new colour variant for the Apple Watch Ultra 2 alongside the Watch Series 10. The Apple Watch SE is also available for purchase starting at Rs. 24,900 in India. Pre-orders for the Black Titanium option of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 as well as the Apple Watch Series 10 are live now.

Apple Watch Ultra Pricing

The price for the Apple Watch Ultra 2 starts at Rs. 89,900 with strap options including Alpine Loop, Trail Loop and Ocean Band. The Titanium Milanese Loop variant is priced at Rs. 1,04,900. The Apple Watch Series 10 begins at Rs. 46,900 for the GPS variant with a size of 42mm.

The new smartwatches will be available for sale starting September 20. Apple's recent event showcased their latest innovations while phasing out older models like the popular iPhone 13 from September 2021.
