iQOO 15 and OnePlus 15 May Share Key Specs: 6.8" OLED, 6000mAh+ Battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, and More
Two upcoming Android flagships - the iQOO 15 and OnePlus 15 - could arrive with a number of shared hardware elements, according to new leaks. While official confirmations are still pending, both phones are rumored to feature flat OLED displays, large batteries, periscope-style telephoto cameras, and Qualcomm’s next-gen silicon.
The update comes from well-known tipster @heyitsyogesh, who revealed some overlapping specifications and hinted at a launch window spanning late Q4 2025 to early Q1 2026.

Flat 6.8-Inch OLED Displays and Shared Chipset
Both iQOO and OnePlus are said to be opting for flat 6.8-inch OLED panels on their next flagships — a trend that seems to respond to user preference for more practical, less reflective screen designs compared to curved edges. The displays are expected to support 2K resolution, at least on the iQOO 15, per earlier leaks from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
Under the hood, both phones may run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, an upcoming Qualcomm chipset that hasn't been officially announced yet but is expected to power multiple high-end Android devices in 2026.
6000mAh+ Batteries and Telephoto Cameras
One of the more notable shared features is a battery capacity exceeding 6000mAh, signaling a move toward better endurance in flagship phones. With power-hungry displays and next-gen chipsets, larger batteries will become a norm in the high-end segment, thanks to the new Silicon Carbon tech.
Camera-wise, both models are expected to carry a 3x telephoto lens, though specifics may vary. The iQOO 15, in particular, is tipped to feature a 50MP 3x periscope camera mounted mid-frame, which could provide improved zoom performance and space efficiency.
Ultrasonic Fingerprint and 100W Fast Charging (iQOO 15)
Leaked details specific to the iQOO 15 suggest the inclusion of a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a feature seen in premium Samsung models, which offers faster and more accurate biometric authentication. The device is also expected to support 100W flash charging, maintaining iQOO’s focus on fast power delivery.
There’s no word yet on whether the OnePlus 15 will match these specs or opt for its own version of in-display fingerprint tech and charging speeds.
Back-to-Back Launch Expected Around Year-End
Both smartphones are reportedly scheduled to launch in close succession — between late Q4 2025 and early Q1 2026 — suggesting a competitive release cycle between the two BBK Electronics sub-brands. This could lead to a short gap between announcement and retail availability, depending on regional rollout plans.
While neither OnePlus nor iQOO has confirmed these details, certification listings and official teasers are expected to appear in the coming months.
