iQOO 15 Price in India Tipped: Why It Will Be India’s Most Affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Smartphone

The iQOO 15 is set to make its debut in India in the coming weeks. To recall, the iQOO 15 was unveiled in China last month as the second phone to adopt the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, giving us a detailed look at its specifications.

However, the iQOO 15's price in India is still currently under wraps. And while we've estimated that it could be priced anywhere between Rs 60,000 to Rs 65,000 in the country, no concrete news of its pricing was available, until now.

iQOO 15 Price in India

According to Gadget360's sources, the iQOO 15 price in India will indeed fall under the Rs 60,000. However, the report notes that this price would only be available as a limited time launch offer. Last year, the iQOO 13 was one of the most affordable flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphones in India and it appears that the brand is following the same disruptive strategy with the iQOO 15.

iQOO 15 vs Competitors

We recently compared the iQOO 15 versus the Realme GT 8 Pro and OnePlus 15, where we noted that the differences between the three phones are few and far between. However, if the iQOO 15 is priced under Rs 60,000, it could severely undercut the competition, particularly the OnePlus 15, which is expected to come in under Rs 75,000.

However, given its upgrades and pricing in China, the Realme GT 8 Pro price in India could start from anywhere between Rs 65,000 to Rs 70,000, giving iQOO a solid edge in pricing.

The Realme GT 8 Pro price in China starts from CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 49,450), which represents a price hike of CNY 300 over the Realme GT 7 Pro, which came in at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs 43,800) at the time of its launch. Additionally, the OnePlus 15 is similarly priced at CNY 3,999 in China.

On the other hand, the iQOO 15's price in China starts from CNY 4,199 (roughly Rs 51,750), making it CNY 100 cheaper than the iQOO 13 at the time of its launch. This suggests pricing of the iQOO 15 could be just as competitive as its predecessor.

iQOO 15 Pre-Booking Pass

Ahead of its November 26 launch, iQOO has introduced a limited-time Priority Pass for interested buyers in India. Customers can secure this pass by paying a refundable ₹1,000, which serves as a pre-booking for the upcoming smartphone.

iQOO is also offering exclusive perks for Priority Pass holders, including a complimentary iQOO TWS 1e and a 12-month extended warranty. The Priority Pass will be available starting November 20, with availability limited to a first-come, first-served basis.

The iQOO 15 packs the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with an Adreno 840 GPU and a dedicated Q3 gaming chip for enhanced graphics and smoother gameplay. It offers up to 16GB LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone features a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung M14 AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming, protected by an anti-reflective coating for better outdoor visibility.

A robust 7,000mAh battery powers the device, supporting 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, all within a slim 8.28mm frame weighing 221g. The triple-camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary (OIS), 50MP ultra-wide, and 50MP telephoto (3x zoom), while the 32MP front camera handles selfies.
