iQOO will unveil its first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 smartphone in India at the end of the month. The company recently confirmed the price range of the iQOO 15R through the official Amazon listing. Now, new information has emerged suggesting the iQOO 15R's price could be even lower than previously expected.

According to the listing on Amazon, the iQOO 15R price in India will fall in the sub-50K segment. However, a recent post on X by tipster Debayan Roy suggests that the starting price of the iQOO 15R will be even lower.

Most Affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Phone?

The post claims that the iQOO 15R price in India will start from under Rs 45,000. This suggests there will be at least three configurations for the upcoming iQOO 15R.

Moreover, if accurate, then the iQOO 15R will be India's most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 smartphone, sitting just under the OnePlus 15R. The only other phone in India to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip is the Motorola Signature, which is significantly more expensive.

iQOO 15R Launch Date in India

The iQOO 15R launch date in India is set for February 24, 2026, at 12 pm IST. Following its launch, the iQOO 15R will go on sale in India through Amazon. Additionally, the iQOO 15R is expected to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was unveiled in China last month, with minor tweaks.

iQOO 15R Specifications: What We Know So Far

The iQOO 15R is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The handset is also expected to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The Snapdragon chip here will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

The iQOO 15R will run Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 skin on top. The brand promises four years of Android OS updates and six years of regular security patches with the iQOO 15R. Moreover, the handset will pack a 7,600mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.

For optics, the iQOO 15R is tipped to feature a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. This will be a slight deviation from the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which opts for a 200MP primary camera sensor. Up front, the iQOO 15R will opt for a 32MP selfie camera.

The handset will be offered in black and silver colour options. Moreover, the iQOO 15R will also feature a metal frame with glass protection on the front and back.
