iQOO Neo 8 Pro with 16GB RAM, 1TB Storage launched: Another first for the Neo Series

The iQOO Neo 8 series was recently announced in China, including the iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 8 Pro. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro was unveiled as the first 'Pro' smartphone in the Neo line-up.

Now, a new version of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro has been unveiled in China. The new memory configuration of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro offers 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Prior to the launch, the highest memory configuration for the iQOO Neo 8 Pro was 16GB/512GB.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro Price

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage will set you back CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs 42,700) in China. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro also comes in two other storage options, including 16GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB, which costs CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 38,800) and CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs 42,300), respectively.

The iQOO Neo 8 features a starting price of CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,400) in China. As of now, there is no information about the availability of the iQOO Neo 8 series outside China. However, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro launch date in India is set for July 4, although it will be a rebranded version of last year's iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro Specifications

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro is the first smartphone to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus SoC. This also marks the first time the Vivo V1+ ISP is used on a Neo series smartphone. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device also boasts a 5002 mm2 vapour chamber for optimal cooling.

For optics, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony IMX866V primary sensor with OIS support. The main camera is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide unit. Up front, there's a 16 MP selfie camera. The phone boots Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top.

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 2160Hz PWM dimming and a pixel density of 452 PPI. Moreover, the panel boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and an instant 1200Hz touch sampling rate. The phone also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
