iQOO Z8 key specifications confirmed ahead of August 31 launch date
The iQOO Z8 series is set to arrive in China next week. The line-up is expected to include the iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x. However, ahead of the launch, iQOO has confirmed a few details about the upcoming iQOO Z8.
The most recent teaser provides an in-depth look at the iQOO Z8's battery capacity and charging support. Additionally, the teaser also provides information about the iQOO Z8's AnTuTu score.

iQOO Z8 Battery and Charging
First, the iQOO Z8 series launch date in China is set for August 31, which is a few days after the brand releases the iQOO Z7 Pro in India. According to the teaser, the iQOO Z8 will pack a large 5,000 mAh battery. Moreover, the iQOO Z8 will support 120W ultra-fast flash charging technology.
The teaser confirms that this will take the battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 10 minutes. Additionally, iQOO also mentioned that the battery will maintain 80 percent of its capacity even after undergoing 1,460 charging cycles. Vivo confirms that the device has passed 30-plus fluency tests in Vivo's laboratory. The Z8 is also certified for 48 months of fluid performance.
iQOO Z8 Performance
iQOO also confirmed that the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset on the iQOO Z8 managed an overall AnTuTu score of 980832 points. The teaser also notes that eight R&D teams jointly invested in the smartphone work together to ensure the device delivered a peak sustained performance for 1500 hours.
A previous teaser also confirmed that the iQOO Z8 would be offered in Blue and White colour options. The design of the iQOO Z8 also reveals the presence of a dual-camera setup on the back with OIS support on the main camera.
The iQOO Z8 is also expected to feature a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will also run Android 13-based Origin OS 3.0.
