When it comes to the imaging department, the Lava A93 smartphone flaunts an 8MP main camera snapper at its rear with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera also with LED flash. The rear camera supports HD video recording, HDR and timer features. The dual SIM smartphone supports OTG and other common connectivity features. Besides this, the smartphone based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
Priced at Rs. 7,999, the Lava smartphone has been launched in two color variants - Gold and Grey. It comes with gesture support such as flip to mute. However, the major downside of the Lava A93 is that it lacks the 4G LTE support, which has become a standard feature these days. While there are many budget smartphones with 4G VoLTE in the Indian market at much affordable price tags, this one might not be appealing to many. It is clear that the smartphone will get a tough competition from the best sellers such as Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A.
