The Lava Agni 2 5G is set to go on sale in India for the first time today (May 24). The Agni 2 5G made its debut in India last week as the second 5G smartphone from the brand, following the launch of the budget Lava Blaze 1X 5G.
The Lava Agni 2 5G boasts a competitive specs sheet for its mid-range price with a MediaTek chipset, a large battery, fast charging, a quad-camera setup, a high-refresh-rate display, and stock Android 13.

The Lava Agni 2 5G price in India is set at Rs 21,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB model. Additionally, Lava is offering an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on the purchase of the Agni 2 5G through a credit or debit card from any 'major' bank.
The Lava Agni 2 5G sale in India kicks off later today at 10:00 am (IST). The Agni 2 5G will be available for purchase exclusively through Amazon India. Lava is also promising a 'free replacement' for the Agni 2 5G during the one-year warranty period.
Lava Agni 2 5G Specifications
The Lava Agni 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, up to 8GB of memory can be used as virtual RAM. The Agni 2 5G packs a 4,700 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
Lava's mid-range 5G smartphone also sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with double reinforced glass protection. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, 105% NTSC colour depth, HDR10+ support, and is L1 DRM Widevine certified.
For optics, the Lava Agni 2 5G gets a quad-camera setup with a 50 MP camera with 1.0-micron (1um) pixel size sensor. The main camera here is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide unit, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. Up front, there's a 16 MP selfie camera.
The Agni 2 5G runs on stock Android 13 with Lava promising software updates till Android 15 and three years of security updates. The handset also offers support for 13 5G bands. The Lava Agni 2 5G comes in a single Glass Viridian shade.
