Lava Blaze 2 5G launch in India confirmed: Teaser reveals Circular Camera Module

Lava is gearing up to launch a new budget smartphone in India. The Lava Blaze 2 5G was officially teased by the brand on X (formerly known as Twitter) and will succeed the Lava Blaze 5G.

To recall, Lava unveiled the Blaze Pro 5G in India last month, while the Blaze 2 and Blaze 2 Pro arrived earlier this year. However, the most recent Lava Blaze 2 will support 5G. The teaser also gave us a glimpse of the device's back panel.

Lava Blaze 2 5G Launch in India Confirmed

Lava didn't reveal an official launch date for the Blaze 2 5G in India, although the brand did say that the handset would be "coming soon". The teaser also shows a circular back panel, which is similar to that of the Lava Agni 2 5G.

Lava also hasn't confirmed the specifications of the Blaze 2 5G. However, tipster Mukul Sharma recently shared what appears to be a render of the Lava Blaze 2 5G on X.

Lava Blaze 2 5G Specifications (Expected)

The Lava Blaze 2 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC. The chip will be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone will also feature a 50 MP AI camera on the back with a ring light. The Lava Blaze 2 5G could also pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

As of now, details about the Lava Blaze 2 5G are still under wraps, particularly its pricing. However, we believe that the Lava Blaze 2 5G price in India will fall anywhere between Rs 11,000 to 15,000.
