Leaked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Case Unveils Design Ahead of Launch

There have been numerous rumors recently circulating about the next model of Samsung's foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

A few days ago, key specifications of the phone leaked online, giving us an idea of what to expect from the fifth edition. Currently, a new leak has revealed the case design of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Case Leaked

An online leak has revealed a transparent TPU case for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, which confirms the design of the phone's camera module prior to its release. The case will have a pill-shaped cutout for the camera module, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

According to leaked renders, Samsung may use the same camera module design as the previous model, featuring three circular cutouts and an LED flash.

However, the Fold 5 is said to receive new camera sensors, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The phone will also have a 12MP front camera on the outside for selfies.

The Fold 5 will also feature a new waterdrop hinge, which will eliminate the gap when the phone is closed. This hinge is expected to enter mass production in June.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5: Rumored Specs

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to have a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. There will also be a 6.2-inch cover display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The foldable will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This was confirmed in the Geekbench listing. The listing also claimed that the phone will pack in 12GB of RAM. Expected internal storage would have two options, 256GB and 512GB.

When it comes to battery, the smartphone will have a 4400mAh battery which supports 45W fast charging and 25W wireless charging. Leaks suggest three color options to be available: Beige, Black, and Light Blue.

The phone is expected to run on the latest Android 13 software out of the box with One UI 5.1.1 on top. The premium smartphone is expected to be launched around the end of July, although there has been no official word on this yet.
