Lenovo K10 Gets Taiwan Certification Board Nod; Launch Imminent
Lenovo hasn't launched new smartphones lately but the company is likely to introduce the Lenovo K10 (XT2025-3) in the next few weeks as a comeback device. The smartphone was recently spotted on Taiwan's device certification and we think that it is a rebranded version of the Motorola E6 Plus.
Motorola is currently owned by Lenovo and we could expect some close resemblance between Lenovo and Motorola smartphones. According to the images found on the certification site, the Lenovo K10 looks a lot like the Motorola E6 Plus in terms of the overall design and form-factor. Besides, the specifications are also quite similar to Motorola's offering.
The back panel of the phone is made using shiny plastic material that mimics glass. It houses a fingerprint sensor and a dual-camera array. The front of the phone is all-display with a tiny water-drop notch at the top portion to house the selfie camera unit.
Lenovo K10 Features And Specifications
The Lenovo K10 is likely to embrace a 6.1-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, powered by a 2.5D curved tempered glass. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage with a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion.
The mobile is likely to launch with stock Android 9 Pie and is likely to receive an Android 10 OS update in the future. The dual-camera setup at the back of the phone has a 13MP primary sensor, 2MP depth sensor. Plus, the phone also has an 8MP selfie camera.
A 3,000 mAh battery fuels the device with a micro USB port for charging and data syncing and the device does retain the 3.5mm headphone jack. As per the pricing, the Lenovo K10 might cost less than the Motorola E6 Plus and is likely to cost less than Rs. 10,000 when it arrives in India.
