LG G7 will look like a Green colored iPhone X; poster reveals
LG G7+ is likely to get launched alongside the LG G7.
LG G7 was allegedly showcased to industry insiders at last month's MWC 2018. However, an anonymous leakster managed to take a hands on video of the smartphone. According to the video, the G7 will sport a design identical to the iPhone X. It will apparently have the same edge-to-edge display with a notch at the top.
Soon after that, we came across concept renders of the LG G7, based on the prototype device shown at MWC. Now, Slashleaks has posted a teaser poster said to be of the G7. The poster was reportedly found in one of the PCs at LG's stand at the MWC 2018. The first thing you will notice about the poster is its color. It seems like the G7 will have a Light Green color variant.
The poster also suggests that the G7 will have a Plus variant. To recall, a previous report coming from Korea had also claimed that LG would launch the G7+ alongside the standard G7.
Moving on, the poster further confirms that LG's upcoming flagship will look like an iPhone X clone. The device is shown featuring a full-screen notched display. The bottom bezel is really narrow but it holds the LG logo.
At the rear panel, the G7 has a vertically stacked dual camera setup. Unlike the iPhone X though, the camera module is placed at the center. You also see the fingerprint scanner located just below the rear camera setup.
The B&O logo present below the fingerprint sensor indicates that the LG G7 could feature specially tuned ear buds by Bang & Olufsen. What's more, text on the poster reads "play more with LG ThinQ Mods". This means that the smartphone is likely to carry support for some kind of modular accessories.
From what we have been hearing so far, the G7 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Its dual rear camera setup will comprise of two 16MP sensors and AI integration. The handset is further expected to pack a Quad-DAC audio system and a 3,000mAh battery. A recent report has claimed that the G7 will not feature an OLED display as LG is looking for ways to cut costs.
