Meizu is celebrating its 15th anniversary and the company is expected to unveil top-of-the-line smartphones in the coming days. The Chinese handset maker will be commemorating its 15 years of operation with new anniversary phones which reportedly will be known as Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus. There are reports about a Lite variant as well. These devices are touted to be impressive products and they will likely bring exciting and top features.
Having said that, the Meizu smartphones have already been leaked many times over the last few weeks and there might be less to imagine in terms of how the device will look and its overall design. We have already seen the alleged live images and renders of the two smartphones. But Meizu seems to be quite loose on keeping secrets about its upcoming handsets.
As such, Meizu 15 Plus live images have yet again been leaked online. While we were already impressed with the earlier leaks, the new images that have been posted on a Chinese website reveal as well as confirm the design of the handset. And we have to say again that the live photos do show the impressive screen-to-body ratio of the smartphone.
Impressive front Design
The new live photos show the front part of the device and we can see that the smartphone feature very slim bezels both at the top and bottom. The company has left enough to house the earpiece, front camera, and sensor at the top though.
Coming to the bottom side, the bezel is practically non-existent. The usual mBack button is missing. However, in this photo you can see there is some kind of virtual holo button which we are assuming is a virtual mBack button similar to that of Meizu M6S that was launched last month. In any case, while the display appears to be one of the key highlights of the smartphone, we hope Meizu will have an advanced software to handle all the functions smoothly.
Dual Cameras at the Back
Only the front side has been shown in today's leak. Another set of live images were also leaked earlier and that image did show the back of the smartphone. To talk about it, there was a dual camera setup along with some improvised flash. The antenna lines were pushed to the top and bottom edges of the smartphone and the device seemed to have a metal build.
Apart from the images, details about the phone's hardware is still a mystery. Rumors have suggested that the device is likely to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, along with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. There is no specific timeframe for the launch of this device as well.
Meanwhile, Meizu has just recently sent out media invites for a launch event in China where it is said to announce Meizu E3 for consumers in the market. The smartphone also recently appeared on TENAA.
