Motorola Edge 2023 Render Leaks Ahead of Launch: Check Details
Motorola released the Moto Edge 2022 smartphone in August of last year. It appears that the company is now preparing to release its successor, the Moto Edge 2023, in the coming months. A leaked render from Pricebaba provides a sneak peek at the design of the Moto Edge 2023 before its official unveiling. Let's take a look.
Design Highlights
The leaked render of the Moto Edge 2023 reveals that the device will feature a display with curved edges, delivering a modern and immersive visual experience. The rear of the smartphone will house a dual-camera system alongside two LED flashes. The blurred text next to the camera module suggests the presence of a 50MP primary camera. On the right side of the device, users can find a power button and volume keys for easy access.

Specifications
Motorola recently released the Edge+ 2023 in Europe, which was later launched in India and China under different names. This has led to speculation that the Moto Edge 2023 may be a modified version of the Edge 40.
A Rebadged Edge 40?
If the Edge 2023 turns out to be a rebranded version of the Edge 40, it will have a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and HDR+ support. It will be powered by a Dimensity 8020 chipset and have a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone will have a vegan leather back and be IP68 water and dust resistant.
Remembering the Moto Edge 2022
As stated already, the Motorola Edge 2023 will succeed the Motorola Edge 2022. To recall, the Edge 2022 was powered by an octa-core Dimensity 1050 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone offered a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera captured clear self-portraits. The device included a 5,000mAh battery, 30W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, 5W reverse charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.
More information about the device's specifications is expected to be released when it appears on benchmarking websites or receives certifications.
