Motorola Edge 50 Neo Launched in India with Versatile Cameras, IP68 Rating, Wireless Charging: Price, Specs

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has officially been unveiled in India and it might just be the smartphone with the most versatile cameras in the segment. The Edge 50 Neo follows the launch of the Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 50 Ultra.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo sits just under the Edge 50 Fusion, although it offers a very compelling specs sheet. However, the star of the show is its triple-rear camera setup, which includes a main, ultrawide, and telephoto sensor, a rarity in the sub-25K segment.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone sports a 6.4-inch pOLED display with a Super HD 1.5K (2712 x 1220 pixels) resolution. Moreover, the screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo opts for a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYTIA-700C primary sensor with OIS support, a 13MP ultrawide lens with a 120° FOV and Macro Vision support, and lastly, a 10MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Up front, the Edge 50 Neo is equipped with a 32MP selfie camera with autofocus and an f/2.4 aperture.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo runs Android 14-based Hello UI. Motorola has also confirmed that the Edge 50 Neo will get five years of Android OS and five years of security updates. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo features an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water and comes with MIL-810H military-grade durability.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo price in India starts from Rs 23,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB model. The Edge 50 Neo is offered in PANTONE Poinciana, PANTONE Lattè, PANTONE Grisaille, and PANTONE Nautical Blue colour options.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo will go on sale in India from September 24 via Flipkart, Motorola.in, and other leading retail stores. HDFC Bank credit card holders can get a discount of up to Rs 1,500 on the Edge 50 Neo.
