Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Launch Date in India Set for June 4: 144Hz OLED Display and 3x 50MP Cameras Confirmed
Motorola is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in its Edge series next month. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will succeed the Edge 70 Pro, which was unveiled in India back in April. Moreover, the Edge 70 Pro+ debuts as the fourth phone in the line-up.
Ahead of the launch, Motorola has already confirmed several features and specifications of the Edge 70 Pro+. Moreover, Motorola markets this unit as the "category's thinnest" periscope implementation for this segment. The layout aims to offer long-range zoom while keeping the rear module and overall chassis relatively slim.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Launch Date in India
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ launch date in India is confirmed to take place on June 4. Following its launch, the Edge 70 Pro Plus will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and other leading retail stores.
We expect the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ price in India to start from under Rs 50,000, putting it between the Motorola Edge 70 Pro and Motorola Signature.
Motorola works with Pantone on three specific back finishes for the Edge 70 Pro+. The Satin-Luxe option uses a smooth matte surface in Pantone Zinfandel, a deep maroon or wine shade. A Twill-inspired Pantone Blue Surf version mimics woven fabric texture, while a Sculpted Wood Pantone Wood Gold finish shows a linear wood-grain style.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Specifications: What to Expect
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is expected to include a 6.7 to 6.8-inch AMOLED display. Resolution is described as 1.5K with quad-curved edges and a 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola also plans Turbo Power wired and wireless charging.
The 50MP periscope camera supports an 85mm equivalent focal length for telephoto shooting. The system covers a 12mm ultra-wide to 85mm telephoto range with Optical Image Stabilization. Users get portrait-friendly framing with reduced shake. Motorola also adds moto AI support to zoom features labelled "50x AI Super Zoom Pro".
The hybrid zoom system can reach up to 50x magnification while aiming to keep images stable. Motorola claims edge-to-Edge clarity with software tuning around the periscope optics. A 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor works beside the telephoto unit. This primary camera targets scenes with harsh daylight contrast and more demanding low-light conditions.
Design remains a key theme for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ campaign, with emphasis on materials. Motorola retains a symmetric quad-curved front panel and simple metal framing intended to improve grip. Engineers aim to balance slim ergonomics with the space required for the periscope hardware and other internal components.
