Motorola is launching its Razr flip smartphones in India later today. The line-up will include the Motorola Razr 40 and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. The Motorola Razr 40 series will be available through Amazon after its launch.

The Motorola Razr 40 also arrives as the most affordable flip smartphone in India if leaks are to be believed. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will aim to compete against the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Oppo Find N2 Flip in India.

The Motorola Razr 40 series launch in India will take place at 05:00 pm today. The event for the Motorola Razr 40 will be livestreamed on the company's official YouTube handle or you can watch the livestream through the link embedded below.

The Motorola Razr 40 series is expected to go on sale on July 15 through Amazon India, during its Prime Day 2023 sale. We believe the Motorola Razr 40 price in India will start from Rs 59,999, while the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra price in India will start from anywhere between Rs 80,000 and 90,000.

Motorola Razr 40 Specifications

The Motorola Razr 40 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB and up to 256GB. The Razr 40 sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ POLED LTPO display with 1,400 nits of peak brightness. The panel boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10+. The Moto Razr 40 has a much smaller outer POLED screen.

For optics, the Razr 40 Ultra gets a dual-camera setup with a 64 MP primary camera sensor with OIS and a secondary 12 MP ultrawide unit that doubles as a macro lens. On the front, there's a 32 MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 4,200 mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging support and 8W wireless charging.

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The Razr 40 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ POLED LTPO display with 1,400 nits of peak brightness. The panel boasts a 165Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10+. The Moto Razr 40 Ultra has a large outer POLED display with a 3.6-inch screen size and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The Razr 40 Ultra packs a 3,800 mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging and 5W wireless charging. For optics, the Razr 40 Ultra gets a dual-camera setup with a 12 MP primary camera sensor with OIS and a secondary 13 MP ultrawide unit that doubles as a macro lens. On the front, there's a 32 MP selfie camera.
