Nokia 8.2 Leaks Hint At Snapdragon 735 SoC, Quad-Camera Setup

Nokia 8.2 Features And Specifications

The Nokia 8.2 is likely to be the first completely bezel-less smartphone. No notch, minimal borders, and the device is likely to mimic the Realme X or even the Redmi K20. Plus, the smartphone might come with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera -- again a first for a Nokia phone.

The Nokia 8.2 is likely to incorporate an AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The screen is likely to be compatible with HDR and is expected to an FHD+ panel with support for HD streaming with Widevine L1 certification.

The Nokia 8.2 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 SoC with 4/6/8GB RAM and 64/128/256GB onboard storage with support for memory expansion. The smartphone is likely to run on Android 10 OS with stock UI.

Several leaks suggest that the Nokia 8.2 will have a quad-camera setup, featuring a 64MP primary sensor with Zeiss optics branding. Other three camera sensors likely to include a dedicated telephoto, ultra-wide angle, and a depth sensor. A 4,000 mAh battery likely to fuel the smartphone with a USB Type-C port and the device is likely to retain a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In terms of pricing, the Nokia 8.2 is likely to cost around Rs. 25,000 for the base variant and the price might go up to Rs. 30,000 for the high-end variant.

The Nokia 8.1 was one of the first smartphones in the country to offer the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC. The Nokia 8.2 might not be that powerful compared to its predecessor. However, it is likely to look a lot modern with a bezel-less display and a pop-up selfie camera.
