Going by the previous reports, the budget-friendly Nokia 2 will be released along with another Nokia device. From the information we had at that time, it was believed that it could either be the Nokia 7 or the true flagship Nokia 9 to accompany the Nokia 2. However, going by the recent information that has come from Eero Salminen's Twitter handle via Nokiamob, it looks HMD will announce a wireless speaker along with the entry-level smartphone.

The unannounced wireless speaker called Nokia MD-22 is likely to cost €30 (approx. Rs. 2,300) to €40 (approx. Rs. 3,000). This device will be available for purchase by the end of this year, claims the report. For now, there is no word on how much the entry-level Nokia 2 will cost but it will definitely be more expensive than the wireless speaker.

The MD-22 wireless speaker is said to be the successor to the Nokia MD-12 that was launched a few years back. It is said to be made available in all the countries where HMD sells its products.

Though there are speculations regarding the upcoming Nokia wireless speaker, HMD has not revealed any confirmation regarding the events that are in plan for the rest of the year. Given that both the devices will be low-end ones, they could be released in the global markets soon after their announcement without any delay.
