Nothing Phone (2) design showcased ahead of July 11 launch

Nothing is gearing up to launch its second smartphone in India and globally next month. The smartphone brand has been teasing several details about the Phone (2) ahead of its launch on July 11. And now, the most recent one gives us a look at the Nothing Phone (2)'s rear panel.

In a recent tweet, Nothing showcased the design of the back panel of the Phone (2). And from the looks of things, nothing appears to have changed. The Nothing Phone (2) will feature a transparent glass layer covers the LED light panel.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone (2) also appears to have curved edges and a more rounded frame as opposed to flat sides on the Phone (1). The Nothing Phone (2) will feature flat AMOLED display with the punch-hole camera cut-out in the centre and uniform bezels.

Nothing also confirmed that the Phone (2) would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Moreover, the Phone (2) will also pack a 4,700 mAh battery that will support fast wired charging as well as wireless charging.

Nothing Phone (2) Specifications

The Nothing Phone (2) is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will run Android 13 out of the box with Nothing OS 2.0 on top. Nothing CEO Carl Pei also confirmed that the Phone (2) will receive three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.

The Phone (2) is also expected to feature a 50 MP primary camera sensor with OIS and a second 50 MP ultrawide shooter. The Phone (2) will also come with a special Swedish House Mafia Glyph sound pack. Nothing released a teaser video to showcase the new sound pack.

We expect the Nothing Phone (2) price in India to start from anywhere between Rs 40,000 to 50,000. However, some rumours suggest that the Phone (2) would start from EUR 729 (roughly Rs 65,600) in Europe.
