Nothing Phone 2 Model Number, Key Specs Leaked: Report

The Nothing Phone 1 was released back in July last year, and now the company is preparing to release its successor in late 2023. Recently, Nothing CEO Carl Pei stated that the Phone 2 will be more premium than the Phone 1. A fresh report claims that the Nothing Phone 2 will bear the model number A065 and will launch in the latter half of this year.

Nothing Phone 2: Rumored Specifications

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Nothing Phone 2 will be released in the second half of 2023 and will sport the model number A065. The report cites its source as a "reputed tipster," who claims that the smartphone will offer a "flagship-grade experience."

The publication states that the Nothing Phone 2 will be powered by an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset. It will likely be accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, along with support for virtual RAM. Additionally, the phone will feature a 5,000mAh battery, which is an upgrade over the Nothing Phone 1's 4,500mAh battery.

The report adds that the Nothing Phone 2 will sport an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to the source, the adaptive display will refresh automatically depending on the content.

It is reported that the Nothing Phone 2 will see a global launch in the third quarter of this year. Unfortunately, there's no word on the exact launch date.

Just last week, Carl Pei stated in an interview that the firm is making the US market its "No. 1" priority. "When you make a smartphone for the US you need to work with the carriers on certification and adapting some of their features into your OS. We didn't have the resources for that before and now we do," Pei explained. He added that the firm is making major strides in the software department, thanks to its expanding team.
