Nothing Phone 2a Design Confirmed ahead of Launch: Check Expected Price, Specifications

The Nothing Phone 2a is launching in India next week. Nothing recently confirmed the chipset on the Phone 2a. Now, the brand has officially teased the design of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a).

The brand recently released a video on X (formerly Twitter), that showcases the design of the upcoming Nothing Phone 2a. Apart from the design and chipset, not much has been confirmed about the Phone (2a), although its specifications have been heavily leaked.

Nothing Phone 2a Launch Date in India

The Nothing Phone 2a launch in India and globally will take place on March 5 at 05:30 pm (IST). Following its launch in India, the Nothing Phone 2a will go on sale through Flipkart.

According to previous reports, the Nothing Phone 2a price in India will start from anywhere between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2a will be manufactured in India.

Nothing Phone 2a Design

The video confirms past leaks about the Phone 2a's design. It will indeed sport a transparent rear panel design. Unlike the Nothing Phone (2), the dual-rear camera setup on the Phone 2a is positioned horizontally in a circular housing.

The LED lights from Nothing's Glyph Interface surrounds the camera island. The Nothing Phone 2a is also showcased in white shade. However, past leaks also suggest that the Phone 2a will also come in a dark gray shade.

Nothing Phone 2a Specifications (Expected)

Nothing has confirmed that the Phone 2a will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Moreover, the handset will run Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5. The handset will also feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to feature a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN9 primary sensor with OIS and a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide shooter. Up front, the Phone (2a) could feature a 16 MP selfie camera. The Noting Phone (2a) will also pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
