The Nothing Phone (3a) series is set to launch in India and globally on March 4, and ahead of its release, new details about its hardware have surfaced-possibly by accident.

While Nothing has been actively teasing features of its upcoming devices, a recent community event may have unintentionally confirmed some of the key specifications.

Nothing recently held a Nothing X Snapdragon X Phone (3a) series community preview, where select community members got an early look at the phone.

Images from the event, shared on Instagram, show a large-sized cutout of a phone held by one of the attendees. On this cutout, several key specifications are listed, providing a strong indication of what to expect from the Nothing Phone (3a).

Snapdragon Chipset Confirmed

Nothing has already confirmed that the Phone (3a) series will feature Snapdragon processors, and the new leaked image suggests that the vanilla Nothing Phone (3a) will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.

Meanwhile, a recent listing indicates that the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro could feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, differentiating the two models in terms of performance.

Camera and Display Details

According to the leaked image, the Nothing Phone (3a) will feature a triple-camera setup with:

50MP primary sensor

13MP secondary camera

10MP third lens

However, a previous Nothing teaser mentioned that one of the models would feature a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens, suggesting that those higher-end specs might belong to the Phone (3a) Pro instead.

The device is also set to feature a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits.

Battery and Software Support

Battery life looks solid, with the Nothing Phone (3a) packing a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.

On the software front, Nothing is promising three years of OS updates and four years of security patches as per the leak.

Are These Specs for the Nothing Phone (3a) or 3a Pro?

While the image suggests these specs belong to the Nothing Phone (3a), there is still some uncertainty. Given that the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro has been rumored to have a more powerful camera system, it's possible that the leaked specifications belong to the standard Phone (3a) rather than the Pro variant.

Additionally, since Nothing hasn't officially confirmed that the details in the leaked image are final, it's best to take this information with a pinch of salt until the launch event on March 4.
