OnePlus 11 Concept Teased With a “Flowing Back” Design and Unique Blue LED Strips
OnePlus has a history of releasing some of the most unusual concept smartphones in recent years. After teasing the arrival of its concept phone at its Cloud 11 event, the Chinese company is now giving a sneak peek at the OnePlus 11 Concept, which will debut on February 27 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
OnePlus 11 Has a "Flowing Back" Design
The OnePlus 11 has a "flowing back" design with a zig-zag pattern of LEDs, a ring around the camera module, and a unibody glass construction.
According to this single image, OnePlus is taking a similar approach to the OnePlus 8T Concept it unveiled in 2020, which featured a color-changing back; however, this time, there are LEDs that light up on the back of the phone.
The lights appear to be blue, and there is no mention of whether or not the lights can change color. OnePlus describes the blue lights and pattern as "icy blue pipelines that run through the entire back of the phone," giving the phone its own network of "blood vessels."
The company compares the unibody glass design to a "glacial lake" with "calm stillness" and "vast power."
Seriously pumped for #MWC23!#OnePlus11Concept

While the video does not reveal the complete design of the phone, the device's microsite makes it clear that OnePlus has taken a page from Nothing's book, as its smartphone has a semi-transparent back that lights up thanks to its "Glyph" LEDs. The concept phone's light strips could function as notification lights, similar to the Nothing Phone (1), but we'll have to wait and see.
Will the OnePlus 11 Concept Come to Market?
Concept phones are designed for a specific purpose: to demonstrate the manufacturers' prowess in developing new technologies and present a future with new possibilities and products that may include the innovation revealed today.
To answer the question, the OnePlus 11 Concept will most likely not be released, which means it will not be sold. However, the company could incorporate some of the concept phone's features into future phones.
OnePlus will unveil the concept phone in its entirety at the MWC trade show in Barcelona, Spain. The trade show serves as a platform for companies to reveal their upcoming devices, as well as showcase a few odd and eccentric products. MWC takes place in Spain from February 27 to March 2, and OnePlus will reveal the concept phone on February 27.
