OnePlus 12 Price in India Leaked on Amazon India Ahead of January 23 Launch

The OnePlus 12 5G is arriving in India on January 23 alongside the OnePlus 12R. However, since the OnePlus 12 5G was already unveiled in China back in December 2023, its specifications are well known.

But a recent leak reveals new information about the OnePlus 12 5G that we weren't privy to ahead of the launch. The leak comes courtesy of an accidental listing of the OnePlus 12 5G on Amazon India, ahead of the e-commerce giant's Republic Day sale.

OnePlus 12 5G Price in India Tipped

Tipster Ishan Agarwal spotted a listing of the OnePlus 12 5G on Amazon India with a price tag of Rs 69,999 for the base 12GB/256GB variant. However, since the leak, no information about the OnePlus 12 price in India is available on Amazon, suggesting that the listing was taken down.

If the tipster is accurate, then the OnePlus 12 5G will be the company's most expensive mainstream smartphone to date, barring the OnePlus Open. The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R launch in India will take place on January 23 at the company's 'Smooth Beyond Belief' event.

To recall, the OnePlus 12 5G was unveiled in China with a starting price of Rs CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs 50,100). The handset is offered in Pale Green, Rock Black, and White colorways in China. Here's a look at the OnePlus 12 5G's specifications.

The OnePlus 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The OnePlus 12 5G runs Android 14 with the latest version of OxygenOS. The phone packs a 5,400 mAH battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.

The OnePlus 12 5G sports a 6.82-inch 2K Pro-XDR BOE X1 OLED display. The panel features LTPO 3.0 technology for an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate (1Hz - 120Hz) and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen boasts a pixel density of 510 PPI and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Up front, the phone boasts a 32 MP selfie camera.

For optics, the OnePlus 12 5G features a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony LYTIA LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS. The main camera is paired with a 64 MP Omnivision O64B telephoto-periscope sensor with a focal length of 70mm, OIS, and 3x optical zoom and a 48 MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide shooter.
