OnePlus 13R Launch in India Teased for January 7: 6000 mAh Battery, Triple-Camera Setup Confirmed

OnePlus recently announced the launch of two new flagship smartphones for January 7, the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. To recall, the OnePlus 13 was unveiled in China back in October, although details about the OnePlus 13R are still scarce, until now.

OnePlus and Amazon India recently confirmed the arrival of the OnePlus 13R on January 7. However, ahead of the launch, the OnePlus 13R will make its debut in China as the OnePlus Ace 5.

OnePlus 13 Series Launch Event

The OnePlus 13 series launch event will take place at 10:30 AM EST (4:30 PM CET / 9PM IST). Following the launch, the OnePlus 13 and 13R will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, as well as through OnePlus India's online and offline stores.

OnePlus 13R: What we know so far!

The OnePlus 13R is set to feature a substantial upgrade in battery capacity, boasting a 6,000mAh battery compared to its predecessor's 5,500mAh. This enhancement aims to provide users with longer usage times without frequent recharging. The phone will be available in two nature-inspired colours: Nebula Noir and Astral Trail.

The design of the OnePlus 13R is both slim and sophisticated, with an elegant camera layout that adheres to the golden ratio. The phone will have Gorilla Glass 7i on both the front and back, complemented by an aluminium frame. Its body is just 8mm thick and features a finish reminiscent of star trails.

OnePlus has also confirmed that the phone will get a lifetime warranty from the 'Green Line' issue that has plagued past OnePlus phones. Additionally, the OnePlus 13R is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Moreover, it could also sport a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Amazon page also showcases the OnePlus 13R with a 50MP triple-camera setup on the back.
