OnePlus is gearing up for its next big flagship launch in the coming weeks. The OnePlus 15 will be the company's next flagship smartphone and will be the first from the brand to use the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.

While all details, including the launch, of the OnePlus 15 are under wraps, the phone has been circulating in the rumour mill for some time now. So here's an in-depth look about the OnePlus 15's expected launch timeline, specifications, pricing, and more.

OnePlus 15 Launch Timeline

The OnePlus 15 is expected to make its debut in China sometime next month, while OnePlus also confirmed the launch of its upcoming flagship in India. To recall, the OnePlus 13 made its debut in China on October 31, 2024, and arrived in India back in early January 2025.

OnePlus 15 Pricing

The OnePlus 15 price in India is expected to start from under Rs 80,000, hinting towards a price hike over its predecessor. The OnePlus 13 price in India started from Rs 69,999 at the time of its launch.

In China, we expect the OnePlus 15 price to start from under CNY 5,000. According to reports, the OnePlus 15 will come in a new Moon Rock Black shade.

OnePlus 15 Specifications

Leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15 may abandon its curved-edge display for a flat screen, utilising low-injection pressure over-moulding (LIPO) technology for thinner bezels. The display is expected to be a 6.78-inch flat LTPO screen with a 1.5K resolution and up to 165Hz refresh rate, offering better refresh rates than its predecessor.

The OnePlus 13, in contrast, boasts a 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO screen with a pixel density of 510ppi and supports Dolby Vision. It has a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and ceramic guard protection.

The OnePlus 15 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. This would succeed the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip found in the OnePlus 13 which pairs with an Adreno GPU and offers up to 24GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.

A significant battery upgrade is anticipated for the OnePlus 15, potentially featuring a capacity of at least 7,000mAh along with support for fast charging at up to 100W wired power as well as 50W wireless charging.

OnePlus 15 Cameras

While some reports indicate that the OnePlus 15 will retain the same camera as the OnePlus 13, others suggest ongoing testing of a prototype with a triple rear camera setup. This might include three 50-megapixel sensors: primary, secondary, and telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Options for large and ultra-large sensors are being considered for the primary camera.

The OnePlus 13 features a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera setup with a primary Sony LYT-808 sensor, an ultrawide S5KJN5 lens, and a periscope telephoto sensor with optical zoom capabilities. It also includes a front-facing Sony IMX615 selfie camera.

The OnePlus 15 is expected to feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front, although it could use an older version of Gorilla Glass on the back.
