OnePlus 5 Slate Gray with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage goes on sale at Rs. 37,999
OnePlus 5 in Slate Gray variant goes on sale.
Earlier this month, OnePlus announced the launch of the Soft Gold variant of their flagship smartphone - OnePlus 5. Notably, the Soft Gold variant is limited only to the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Alongside the same, the company also unveiled the Slate Gray color variant of the smartphone with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Today, the OnePlus 5 Slate Gray variant with 8GB RAM has been released in the country. Like the Midnight Black, this one is also priced at Rs. 37,999. The new Slate Gray variant is also exclusive to the online retailer Amazon India and is available for sale from today.
To refresh on the specifications, the OnePlus 5 has been launched in India on June 22 and went on sale the same day via Amazon. The device boasts of a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display. At its heart, there lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS based on the OxygenOS. Recently, the OnePlus 5 received the OxygenOS 4.5.8 update that brings many improvements, optimizations and EIS for 4K video recording.
The imaging aspects include a dual-rear camera setup with 16MP (Sony IMX398) and 20MP (Sony IMX350) sensors and a 16MP front-facer as well. The primary sensor at the rear has dual LED and f/1.7 aperture while the secondary sensor features 4K video recording support and f/2.6 aperture. The device draws the power from a 3300mAh battery with the Dash Charge technology.
There is a fingerprint sensor on board the OnePlus 5 and the same is embedded into the home button at the front. The device features 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD, GPS/GLONASS and NFC for connectivity. Both the variants support dual SIM cards and there is a 3.5mm audio jack despite the presence of a USB Type-C port.
