OnePlus 6 could be launched in India sooner than expected but there is no word from the company.

Back in 2017, OnePlus indicated that the Indian market is very important for the brand by launching the OnePlus 5, the flagship smartphone back then, just two days after its global announcement. Once again, the brand appears to have confirmed the same. Well, the OnePlus 6 could be launched soon in the country as it has been spotted on BIS, the Indian certification website.

The listing of the OnePlus 6 on BIS has been spotted by Killer Features. The early listing indicates that the OnePlus 6 could arrive earlier than expected in the country. Though the report has also revealed a screenshot of the listing, OnePlus has not confirmed any information about the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphone. Given that there are a lot of rumors and speculations regarding this phone, we can expect the early launch of the device.

Recently, we came across a report wherein the company's co-founder Carl Pei confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will arrive with a display notch. He also revealed the dimensions of the notch and confirmed the same with an image. He had come up with an explanation so as to why OnePlus decided to implement the notch in their flagship smartphone and the components to be housed in it.

Prior to this, a leaked image by the reputed tipster Evan Blass showed the OnePlus 6's rear with a wooden textured cover. The image showed the arrangement of the dual cameras at the rear panel, the company logo, the fingerprint sensor's position and the bottom edge of the smartphone. From the same, it is expected that the OnePlus 6 will arrive with a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.

The previous reports regarding the OnePlus 6 have tipped that the smartphone would arrive with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The smartphone is believed to feature 6GB and 8GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB and 256GB of default memory capacity based on the variant. The device is expected to be unveiled with Android 8.1 Oreo topped with OxygenOS out of the box. We can expect the upcoming OnePlus flagship smartphone to be unveiled with features such as Dash Charging as usual and Face Unlock as well.
