OnePlus 8 Pro To Launch With 120Hz Refresh Rate Display
Asus was the first company to include the 90Hz display with its first gaming smartphone ROG Phone back in 2018. After that OnePlus also launched its OnePlus 7 Pro this year with a 90Hz display, and after that, a lot of smartphone brands have started including the 90Hz screen on their flagship smartphones which also includes the Google Pixel 4.
Recently, Asus launched its second-generation gaming smartphone - the ROG Phone 2 with a 120Hz refresh rate display making it the first phone like the predecessor to sport such high configuration display. But it seems that the title of the only smartphone with 120Hz screen is going to be taken away from the phone because it has been reported that OnePlus is also using a similar display for its upcoming flagship.
According to a Twitter post by Max.J reliable tipster, the OnePlus 8 Pro will arrive with a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate display. Meanwhile, Samsung is also planning to include the 90Hz display on its upcoming flagship smartphone Galaxy S11.

Reports also claim that Apple is also gearing up to feature a 120Hz refresh rate display on its next year flagship smartphone. The company is expected to call it "ProMotion OLED" display. Just to recall, the company featured the ProMotion display with its iPad Pro 2016 model. Apple is said to use the same display on its upcoming smartphone.
Besides, the OnePlus 8 Pro is also speculated to arrive with a quad-camera setup which comes with the combination of a telephoto lens with 3x optical support, ultra-wide-angle sensor, a microlens, along with a primary camera sensor with 108 MP or 64MP camera sensor.
According to rumors, the OnePlus 8 Pro is said to be powered by Qualcomm's upcoming flagship chipset the Snapdragon 865. The smartphone will be backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Recently, a render surfaced on the web which gave us a glance of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. The render suggests that the phone will pack a punch-hole display.
Meanwhile, we recommend you to take this information with the pinch of salt because there are no concrete pieces of evidence to verify this information. It will be too early to jump to any conclusion.
