OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Could Launch With A Dimensity 9000 SoC; Features Leaked

Just yesterday, OnePlus launched its OnePlus Ace 2 in the Chinese market. Subsequently, the device also debuted in the Indian market as the OnePlus 11R. The smartphone packs in a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship processor of 2022, a large AMOLED display, a high refresh rate, and 100W fast charging support among other features. Now, rumors are afloat that the brand will be adding another model to the OnePlus Ace 2 in China.

Popular leakster from China, DCS (Digital Chat Station) asserts that OnePlus is working on another Ace smartphone to join the recently launched OnePlus Ace 2. The tipster leaked the model number and a few key aspects of the device.

Leaked Specifications Of the New OnePlus Ace 2 Model

As per DCS, the new model of the OnePlus Ace 2 will bear a model number PHP110. The smartphone is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED display, similar to the one on the Ace 2. The display is alleged to have a centrally placed hole-punch cutout for the front selfie sensor with 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1240 pixels) and PWM high-frequency dimming.

The major difference, as per the leak, is going to be in the performance, as the new model is speculated to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The smartphone is also likely to come with 16GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, similar to the OnePlus Ace 2 aka OnePlus 11R.

The leakster further added that the smartphone could feature a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP OmniVision OV64M primary camera, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M macro sensor. Selfies and video calls are claimed to be supported by a 16MP sensor at the front. The device could be backed by a 5000mAh battery with a 100W fast charging support.

OnePlus introduced as many as three OnePlus Ace models last year - namely the OnePlus Ace, OnePlus Ace Pro, and the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition. Since the OnePlus Ace 2 Racing Edition is rumored to be packed with a Dimensity 8200 SoC, it is safe to assume that the 9000 SoC powered device will be called the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
