OnePlus Ace 3V key specifications leaked ahead of launch in China: All you need to know

OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new mid-range smartphone in China. The OnePlus Ace 3V is tipped to debut in China in the coming weeks. It will likely succeed the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was unveiled in India as the OnePlus Nord 3 5G.

Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station recently uploaded a post on Weibo about a new mid-range smartphone. While the tipster didn't reveal the name of the device in question, it is likely to be the OnePlus Ace 3V.

OnePlus Ace 3V: What we know so far

According to a new report by MySmartPrice, the purported OnePlus Ace 3V will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which is expected to be based on TSMC's 4nm fabrication process. For comparison, the OnePlus Ace 2V utilized the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.

The report also suggests that OnePlus could be ditching MediaTek for Qualcomm for its upcoming smartphones. It is also speculated that OnePlus could drop MediaTek entirely from its smartphones regardless of the price and line-up.

The alleged OnePlus Ace 3V smartphone will also sport a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus Ace 3V will likely be rebranded as the Nord 4 or Nord 5 in international markets. To recall, the OnePlus Ace 2V was unveiled as the OnePlus Nord 2 in Indian markets back in July.

Upcoming OnePlus Announcement

OnePlus is also gearing up to unveil its foldable smartphone in India and globally soon. The OnePlus Open launch event will take place on October 19 in India at 07:30 pm (IST). OnePlus has also been teasing several details, including the design, of its upcoming foldable smartphone.

The OnePlus Open is confirmed to feature an alert slider as well as an IP rating for water resistance. The OnePlus Open price in India will likely be set at Rs 1,39,999 with the foldable expected to go on sale in country from October 27. The OnePlus Open will also debut as the Oppo Find N3 in China.
