Oppo ColorOS 7 India Launch Confirmed For November 26

Recently, Oppo confirmed that the next iteration of its custom skin, the ColorOS 7 is all set to be launched in China on November 20. However, there was no clarity regarding when the same will be launched in India. Now, there seems to be an official confirmation on the same as the company has sent media invites for the same.

Well, Oppo has started sending media invites for a launch event on November 26. It has been confirmed that the launch will take place in Delhi and there is no clue if there will be a smartphone launch.

ColorOS 7 India Launch

The China invite of the Oppo ColorOS 7 showed game console and other objects hinting that there will be an improved gaming experience and performance among other aspects. It is believed that the next iteration of the company's custom skin will bring new and optimized experience and features.

However, the India invite sent by the company mentions ColorOS 7, confirming its launch and shows Blue and Green colors in the logo with location and date. Already, the Realme CEO confirmed that the Realme smartphones will run a tweaked version of the ColorOS 7, which provides a near-stock Android experience.

What We Think

As the ColorOS 6 was launched in November last year, the ColorOS 7 is expected to be an incremental upgrade to the same. It is likely to bring updates to the camera, performance, gaming, and security aspects of the software. The custom skin is believed to feature a new font, fluid animations, gesture-based navigation, and minimalistic interface.

From the existing reports, the ColorOS 7 is believed to arrive with features such as Focus Mode, which is something like Zen Mode, Dark Mode, better file management and an optimized Control Center or quick settings menu. However, we need to wait for the official launch of the Oppo custom skin in China for more details regarding its complete features and specifications.
