    Yesterday, we got to know that the Oppo F5 that is circulating in rumors and speculations will be launched soon in India but a specific date wasn't mentioned. Today, there seems to be more clarity regarding the same.

    Well, Oppo has started sending media invites for the launch event of a new smartphone in Mumbai on November 2 at 12:00 PM. Going by the invite, it is believed that the device in question could be the much-awaited Oppo F5. The invite shows the silhouette of a bezel-less smartphone. It also reads "Come and 'Capture the real you' with Oppo's new Selfie Expert".

    While the India launch date of the Oppo F5 appears to be November 2, there is no mention about when the same will be released in the other countries. Previously, the company has announced that the Oppo F5 will be launched in the Southeast Asian markets such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

    Beside the global release plan, Oppo released a few details regarding the display and camera capabilities. It was mentioned that the Oppo F5 will be the company's first bezel-less smartphone featuring a FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

    As it belongs to the F series, we know that it will be a selfie-centric smartphone. The company claims that the smartphone will arrive with the AI Beauty Recognition technology that will use artificial intelligence to recognize the skin type and tone, gender and age of the subjects to beautify the selfie shots.

    From the previous reports, the Oppo F5 is believed to feature a dual selfie camera setup at the front but the picture teased by the company does not show the same. We can expect the Oppo F5 to be launched along with a Plus variant with the latter having a dual camera setup at the front to click selfies.
