Oppo F7 full specs are out ahead of March 26 launch
Oppo F7 complete specifications have been revealed.
We are a few days away from the launch of the Oppo F7 as the smartphone will see the light of the day on March 26. The previous leaks regarding the smartphone have revealed only a few details such as the presence of a display notch, a 25MP selfie camera with AI capabilities and a few other minor details. Now, a sales pitch manual of the Oppo F7 has leaked online leaving Oppo with nothing else to unveil on Monday.
The Oppo F7 sales pitch manual revealed by Slashleaks via Smartprix has revealed the complete specifications of the smartphone. Though these are not official, we can expect the device to arrive with the same specifications when it is unveiled on March 26. Notably, Oppo has already sent out media invites for an event to be held on March 26 in Mumbai.
Display notch
Going by the same, the Oppo F7 could feature a 6.23-inch notched LED display. Oppo calls it Super Full Screen and it is said to have FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and 88% screen-to-body ratio. The Full Screen multitasking feature will also be introduced and it will let users do several things at the same time.
Processor
Under its hood, the Oppo F7 could make use of an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. This chipset was introduced recently and come with AI capabilities. The chipset is manufactured using TSMC's 12nm process. According to the chip maker, the MediaTek P60's AI lets it understand how a user uses the phone and adapt to the usage.
Camera
Being the successor to the Oppo F5, which was the first one to arrive with an AI-powered selfie camera, the F7 will bring an improved 25MP sensor to the table. The 25MP selfie camera will be powered by AI and have features such as group selfie beautification and AI-based 16 scene recognition support. The rear camera is said to be a 16MP sensor.
Other features
From the recently leaked sales material, we get to know that the Oppo F7 will arrive with Color OS 5.0. It remains to be known if the device will run Android Nougat or Oreo. The Color OS 5.0 will have feature such as Face Unlock and Screen Recording as well. A 3400mAh battery will power the Oppo F7 rendering 15 hours of usage on a single charge. While the sales manual does not reveal the RAM and storage capacity, the device is believed to feature 4GB RAM and 64GB storage along with expandable storage space up to 256GB.
