OPPO Find N5 Confirmed in White Color Variant; Watch X2 Also Confirmed for Launch

OPPO is set to introduce its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Find N5, alongside the Watch X2 smartwatch later this month. While the company has yet to confirm an official launch date, Zhou Yibao, OPPO's Head of the Find Series, recently shared new details about both devices in a Weibo post.

The Find N5 will serve as the successor to the Find N3, while the Watch X2 will follow the OPPO Watch X. Both devices are also expected to launch globally under the OnePlus brand, with the Find N5 likely to debut as the OnePlus Open 2 and the Watch X2 as the OnePlus Watch 3.

Find N5 Color Options and Key Features

According to Zhou Yibao, the Find N5 will be available in at least two color options-white and black. This is a shift from its predecessor, the Find N3, which launched in black, gold, green, and red variants. More colors may be revealed at the official launch event.

One of the standout features of the Find N5 is its 3D-printed titanium alloy hinge, which is designed to improve durability. OPPO has also confirmed that the Find N5 will be the first foldable smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Following its launch in China, the Find N5 is expected to be released in global markets as the OnePlus Open 2. The specifications are likely to remain the same, though the pricing and availability will vary by region. For reference, the OnePlus Open launched in India at a price of Rs 1,39,999 in 2023.

OPPO Watch X2 to Feature Blood Pressure Monitoring

In addition to the Find N5, the Watch X2 is set to be unveiled at the same launch event. OPPO has confirmed that the Watch X2 will introduce blood pressure monitoring, making it the first smartwatch from the company to offer this feature. This functionality will allow the watch to detect abnormal blood pressure levels and alert users, putting it in direct competition with premium smartwatches from Apple and Samsung.

The Watch X2 is also expected to launch globally as the OnePlus Watch 3. The previous OPPO Watch X was essentially a rebranded OnePlus Watch 2, which debuted at Rs 24,999 in India. If OPPO follows the same strategy, the OnePlus Watch 3 will likely share the same design and specifications as the Watch X2.

The smartwatch recently appeared on TENAA, revealing a design similar to its predecessor and a 631mAh battery. While details on other specifications remain limited, it is expected to come with enhanced health-tracking features.

What to Expect from the Launch

OPPO has been gradually teasing the Find N5 on social media, suggesting that an official announcement is imminent. The company has also confirmed that the phone will support 50W wireless charging and will have an IPX9 rating for water resistance.

Additionally, there are rumors that it will feature a 6.85-inch LTPO display with a 2K resolution, an improved Hasselblad-backed triple-camera system with a periscope lens, and satellite connectivity.

With the launch expected in the coming weeks, OPPO is likely to reveal more details soon. The key question now is whether the OnePlus Open 2 and OnePlus Watch 3 will be unveiled at the same time as their OPPO counterparts or if their global launch will happen separately.
