Poco C51 Specs Leak: Entry-Level Android Smartphone Could Be A Rebadged Redmi A2+
Before launching the Poco X5 Pro 5G and the Poco X5 5G, the brand had launched the Poco C50 and the Poco C55 in India. Poco could offer yet another entry-level Android smartphone, called the Poco C51.
Poco has been actively expanding its presence in the midrange and budget Android smartphone segments. Both affordable Poco C series smartphones were launched barely three months ago. But some rumors claim Poco will soon launch the Poco C51.

Poco C51 To Have Upgraded MediaTek Helio G Series Chipset?
The Poco C50 was launched in India at the beginning of this year. The smartphone's specifications are similar to the Redmi A1+, which Xiaomi launched last year.
As the name suggests, the Poco C51 will be positioned above the Poco C50. The latest leak about the smartphone suggests the Poco C51 will follow the same trend as the Poco C50. The Poco C50 has a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset. The Poco C51 could pack the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC.

As it is an entry-level Android smartphone, the Poco C51 could run the Android 12 Go edition instead of the full-fledged Android OS. The rest of the Poco C51 specifications currently remain a mystery, but the majority of the Poco C series smartphones have been rebranded Redmi smartphones from the Redmi A series.
Poco C51 Could Be A Rebranded Redmi A2+
As mentioned above, the Poco C50 is essentially a rebranded Redmi A1. Similarly, the recently launched POCO C55 is a rebadged Redmi 12C. Hence, the Poco C51 could be the Redmi A2+.
Xiaomi confirmed the existence of the Redmi A2 and the Redmi A2+ this week. If the Poco C51 is a rebranded Redmi A2+, it will have a large 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen. The 720p display may have a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate.
The 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 rumored to be powering the Poco C51 is paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The smartphone may ship with either 2GB or 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM, but both variants may get just 32GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. There would be a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding onboard storage.
The Poco C51 may feature a dual camera setup on the back, comprising an 8MP primary camera, coupled with an AI lens and LED flash. There could be a 5MP front-facing camera.
If the Poco C51 is indeed the Redmi A2+, then the smartphone will have a fingerprint scanner on the back, just like the Poco C50. The Redmi A2+ packs a 5000mAh battery unit and supports 10W wired charging via a micro-USB port.
The Redmi A2+ will soon be available in three color options: Light Blue, Light Green, and Black. The smartphone weighs 192 grams and measures 164.9 × 76.75 × 9.09mm.
