Poco F5 Storage Variants, Color Options Confirmed Ahead of Launch

Poco is launching the Poco F5 series in India on May 9, 2023. Ahead of its debut, the smartphone maker has confirmed key specs of the upcoming handset.

Just last week, Poco had revealed that the Poco F5 will be the first smartphone in India to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. The brand has now announced the storage and color options for the upcoming device. Here's everything we know about the Poco F5 so far.

Poco F5 5G Features

Poco India head Himansu Tandon, in an interaction with influencer Rajiv Makhni, confirmed the storage, RAM, and color variants of the Poco F5. The base model will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone may also come in a 12GB RAM variant.

As for the cameras, the Poco F5 will sport a triple-camera array at the rear accompanied by an LED flash. The camera setup will be headlined by a 64MP primary camera.

Since the phone is rumored to be a rebadged Redmi Note 12 Turbo, we can expect it to feature an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. It will likely get a 16MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls.

During the interaction with Makhni, Tandon shared that the Poco F5 has an AnTuTu score of nearly a million, 969,903 points to be precise. That's the highest score for a phone equipped with a Snapdragon 7-series processor.

Moving on to the design, the Poco F5 display is surrounded by minimal bezels. The front panel has a screen-to-body ratio of 93 percent. At the front, there's a punch-hole notch for the selfie camera.

According to rumors, the Poco F5 will have a 6.67-inch screen. It will have a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The smartphone will ship with Android 13-based MIUI 13.

Poco F5 5G Availability

The Poco F5 5G is scheduled to launch in India on May 9 and will be available for purchase via Flipkart. The smartphone will come in two color variants, Carbon Black and Snowstorm White. Although the pricing is still undisclosed, the smartphone could be priced in India under ₹30,000.
