Poco F7 Surfaces on BIS Listing—India Launch Around the Corner?

Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco recently unveiled the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra globally, but India was noticeably left out of that party. Now, a fresh listing on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) suggests the vanilla Poco F7 is preparing for an India launch.

That's typically one of the last formalities before release, so a local debut could happen any week now.

A Rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro?

The BIS listing shows model number 25053PC47I, which closely matches the rumored Redmi Turbo 4 Pro-fueling talk that the Poco F7 might just be a rebranded version of that phone.

If the speculation is right, expect a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a massive 7,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging, and a 50MP + 8MP dual-camera setup. Add to that a metal frame, in-display fingerprint scanner, and IP68/IP69 protection, and it sounds like a fairly loaded mid-premium device.

No Sign of Pro or Ultra for India

While the base F7 seems ready for launch, there's still no trace of the F7 Pro or Ultra on any Indian certification platforms. Reports have suggested that India might only get the standard F7, and this new listing supports that theory. Poco may be holding back the higher-end models to streamline its India offerings or to focus on price-sensitive segments.

India-Exclusive Edition in the Works?

Interestingly, rumors also point to an India-specific special edition of the Poco F7, although details are scarce. It could be a cosmetic refresh, custom packaging, or localized software tweaks-but it shows Poco is still invested in India's massive smartphone market.
