POCO F7 Ultra Launch in India Teased; POCO F7 to Tag Along

POCO is gearing up to launch the F7 Ultra soon in India, which was launched last month globally alongside the F7 Pro. POCO India head Himanshu Tandon has teased the arrival of the upcoming POCO F7 Ultra, where he is seen standing beside a poster while holding the device in his hand. Though the post doesn't reveal any details beyond the poster, it's a clear nod to the Ultra's arrival.

Earlier, Tandon had polled his followers on X, asking whether they would prefer the POCO F7 Pro or the F7 Ultra to launch in India. The teaser now confirms that the Ultra variant is the one making its way to the Indian market.

POCO F7 Ultra: What to Expect?

We expect the POCO F7 Ultra will have the same set of specifications in India as the global variant. To recall, the F7 Ultra was announced with a 6.67-inch 2K OLED display using TCL's M9 LTPS panel that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

It runs on Android 15 OS with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2 skin. Moreover, the device packs a 5300mAh battery, supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. For imaging, there's a rriple camera system including a 50MP Sony Light Fusion 800 main sensor, 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens, and a 32MP ultrawide lens. Upfront, it gets a 32MP selfie camera.

POCO F7 Incoming?

While there's no official word regarding the arrival of the standard POCO F7 in India, the smartphone was recently spotted on the BIS listing with model number 25053PC47I. The model number closely resembles the upcoming Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is rumoured to come with the POCO F7 moniker in India. The POCO F7 might include the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a 6.83-inch OLED LTPS display, and a 7,550mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
