Realme 12 Pro Series Camera Specs Confirmed Before Launch
The Realme 12 Pro 5G series is set to debut in India on January 29, with at least two models: the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+.
According to Realme's official X (formerly Twitter) account, the company is poised to impress with the inclusion of a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope lens, which provides an impressive 120x Super Zoom capability. The sensor, which is 1/2-inch in size, is said to be 27.62 percent larger than those found in other flagship devices.

Additionally, a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is expected to grace the series. The regular Realme 12 Pro might sport a substantial 200MP camera unit, reminiscent of the Realme 11 Pro+.
Realme 12 Pro Series: Expected Specs
While the Realme 12 Pro is expected to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, the Realme 12 Pro+ could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Both models are likely to house robust 5,000mAh batteries, supported by 67W wired fast charging. The devices may feature 6.7-inch curved-edge full-HD+ AMOLED panels boasting a 120Hz refresh rate.
A recent Geekbench listing (uncovered by MySmartPrice) provided information on the Realme 12 Pro+, including key specs such as 12GB of RAM, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, and the Android 14 operating system. This variant is expected to debut in a Cream color option.
Realme 12 Pro Max Could Debut Too
The Realme 12 Pro series may also introduce a third device, the Realme 12 Pro Max. The device is expected to have a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, and a triple-camera setup. The camera system is likely to include a 50MP IMX890 sensor with OIS and a 64MP OIS periscope camera. The expected starting price for the device in India is Rs 33,999.
Launch and Availability
The Realme 12 Pro 5G series is set to debut on January 29th at 12 PM IST and will be available for purchase through Flipkart. The devices are expected to be released in blue and cream color options, with the cream variant looking like the Sunrise Beige version of the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G.
